Supportive Supervision & Health Systems Monitoring (2026)

BEWOF conducted supportive supervision visits to health facilities including Yelwa Domiciliary PHCC, Bauchi and General Hospital Azare Local Government Area (LGA) under the GC7 N-THRIP CLM project. These visits focused on assessing the availability and quality of malaria, tuberculosis, and HIV/AIDS services, improving patient experience, and strengthening accountability in service delivery.

Community Health Awareness & Outreach (2026)

We organized health awareness sessions across schools and communities, including hepatitis sensitization and maternal health education. At Yelwa PHCC, over 20 mothers participated in interactive sessions where IEC materials were distributed to promote informed health practices.

Say No to Panya, Yes to Skills” Campaign (2026)

BEWOF led a multi-school campaign in Bogoro promoting skills acquisition as an alternative to social vices. Several secondary schools were reached, empowering students with knowledge on self-reliance and positive life choices.

Education Support Initiative (2026)

Global Fund TB/HIV Community Projects (2025–2026)

Through partnerships with Global Fund, NEPWHAN, and CHISTRE, BEWOF implemented community-led monitoring (CLM), active TB case finding, and PMTCT programs. Activities included community engagements, facility assessments, and awareness creation on TB, HIV, and malaria prevention.

Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Prevention Programs

BEWOF conducted multiple GBV outreach programs in schools and communities, educating adolescents on prevention, rights, and reporting mechanisms. These initiatives reached hundreds of students across Bauchi State.

Promotion of water purification practices

BEWOF supported different women groups within and outside Bauchi with micro credit loans ranging from N10,000 to N100,000 from 2010 till 2022. The Micro Credit activity was aimed at supporting women with soft loans to boost their businesses.
